Since its inception in 2004 under the visionary leadership of Mr Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chairman of Rayat Educational & Research Trust, Rayat International School has pursued a single, unwavering goal: to extend world-class, yet affordable, learning opportunities to children of our villages and small towns. Rooted in Punjab’s soil, we believe that education is the surest path to social dignity, economic mobility, and professional success. Guided by this conviction, we invest in qualified teachers, modern laboratories, digital classrooms, and skill-linked curricula that prepare every learner to thrive in the 21st-century economy. Our holistic development framework embraces athletic, artistic, and ethical dimensions alongside academics. To this end, we proudly run NCC, NSS, and Scouts & Guides wings, which foster leadership, discipline, social responsibility, and teamwork. Through the NCC Junior Division (since 2013), over 100 cadets gain hands-on training in drill, shooting, personality-building camps and national-level interactions. In NSS, our students conduct cleanliness drives, street plays and awareness campaigns—teaching them the value of civic engagement and environmental stewardship. The Scouts & Guides wing further enhances their character, survival skills and sense of service. Our Trust’s colleges of engineering, management, law, pharmacy and vocational studies reinforce this continuum, letting rural youth advance from nursery to degree without leaving their community. These initiatives echo the national call for inclusive, competency-based schooling and industry-oriented skilling in the New Education Policy. Every child who enters our campus is encouraged to think critically, act ethically, respect the environment and lead with compassion.
